From childhood, Dr. Cortner suffered from a range of health issues, including chronic ear, sinus, and strep infections, as well as hormonal imbalances and persistent acne. Despite taking antibiotics regularly, her symptoms persisted, and she was diagnosed with PCOS at age 13. Medical specialists advised her to manage the symptoms with medication, as there was no known cure for the disease. However, after her mother’s positive experience with chiropractic care, Dr. Cortner learned that her body had the ability to heal itself. Through regular chiropractic treatment, she found relief from her PCOS symptoms and was able to stop taking medication within months.
Inspired by her personal health transformation, Dr. Cortner pursued a career in chiropractic care, earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in 2016. She specializes in family care and has received advanced training in managing infants and children, as well as prenatal and postpartum care. Dr. Cortner is also certified in the Webster Technique and is working toward a Diplomate in Pediatrics and Pregnancy through the ICPA.
Dr. Cortner is committed to promoting wellness and educating the Cumming community about how to live a healthy and happy life. She regularly speaks at various events and organizations to share her knowledge and experience.
Dr. Kelly Stone is a Georgia native and grew up in Lawrenceville. She has always had a heart to help others and loves that chiropractic care does just that!
Being adjusted since 8 years old, chiropractic was always a constant and basic knowledge to her, and after a visit to Life University during her undergrad she knew she had found her path! Dr. Kelly graduated from Life College of Chiropractic in 2017 and has loved helping her patients reach their healthiest potential since!
Dr. Kelly has a passion for helping others and loves to help them overcome health obstacles through chiropractic care. While in practice, she has loved seeing her patients flourish and improve their lives by treating different ailments all over the body! She loves treating everyone and has a heart for treating our little ones and future mommas. She has obtained her Webster certification through the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association, specifically for pregnant women, as well as advanced pediatric adjusting. Healthy kids turn into healthy adults, and chiropractic is a great tool to encourage healthy habits in younger kids. Many people seek chiropractic care as a last resort, and then ask, “why didn’t I do this sooner?!” So, make sure to start and take hold of your health now!
When not in the office, she enjoys crafting of any kind including furniture, doodles, hand embroidery, and anything else you can think of! She and her fellow chiropractor hubby love getting outside and exploring the tallest mountains, or the widest oceans. You can also find her in the kitchen, experimenting to make healthy home cooked meals.

Dr. Morgan Thomas excels in delivering personalized chiropractic care that addresses the underlying causes of patients’ health challenges. She recognizes that authentic healing demands an all-encompassing strategy. With this in mind, Dr. Morgan finds joy in empowering patients to reclaim their health by advising and teaching them how to restore equilibrium in their lives using proven chiropractic techniques. While Dr. Morgan treats patients across all age groups, she has a special interest in providing care for pediatric and expectant patients. She understands the crucial need to alleviate stress on the nervous system for both mother and child.
Dr. Morgan earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences and holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree, with a major in biology, from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Residing in Alpharetta, GA, Dr. Morgan enjoys a balanced life outside of work. She can often be found at Braves games, cherishing moments with her family and her dog Winston, or engaging in physical activities to stay fit.
Greg, originally from Gwinnett County, earned his degree at Georgia State University in 2007. After dedicating eight years as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Greg chose to change his career path and co-founded Arise Family Chiropractic with his wife, Dr. Caitlyn Cortner. Witnessing the extraordinary impact of Dr. Cortner’s work on people’s lives inspired Greg to reassess his professional goals and commit to a purpose centered on helping others. Outside of work, Greg takes pleasure in playing tennis, exploring the outdoors, and sharing joyful moments with their young daughter, Faye.
